Privacy at WhyDoGEO
How WhyDoGEO handles local checklist progress, ordinary network processing and links to third-party sources.
WhyDoGEO does not install analytics, advertising trackers or marketing pixels. There are no accounts, payment forms or lead-capture forms. Reading the guides does not require providing personal details. This page explains the limited browser-local checklist feature and the ordinary network processing involved in visiting a website.
Checklist progress on your device
When browser storage is available, the checklist saves only which of its ten items you marked. That progress remains in the current browser and can be reused when you change the site’s language. It is not uploaded to WhyDoGEO. The site does not set a tracking cookie for this purpose.
Use “Reset progress” on the checklist to remove its saved progress, or clear this site’s data in your browser. Private browsing, blocked storage or clearing site data can prevent persistence. When storage is unavailable, a warning explains that progress will not survive a reload or language change. Copying the checklist uses your device’s clipboard only after you request it; a manual text fallback is available if copying fails.
Ordinary network processing
Your browser must request pages and assets from the hosting infrastructure. Ordinary connection information, such as an IP address, request path and browser information, may be processed by the server or network providers for delivery, security and operational purposes. This site does not determine their retention periods and does not promise that infrastructure logs never exist.
Links to other websites
The guides link to official third-party sources. Following a link sends you to that website, where its own privacy practices apply. WhyDoGEO does not control those sites. Source links are provided for verification; they do not imply a partnership, endorsement or shared privacy policy.
